    Joseph Byer Chair

The prototype for this unique design was discovered in the back storage of our building and no one had ever seen it before! We thought it would be fitting to name the chair after our founder, Joseph Byer. Made of strong Keruing wood, this robust chair is both comfortable and simple in design. Yet, it folds up easily by picking it up by the back of the arms. The chair features a double-stitched cover and is handsomely finished with multiple coats of penetrating oil.

    • Simple and attractive, this Joseph Chair is the perfect seating for your outdoor living space. At 16lbs, it’s easy to take with you wherever you need a place to sit--at the park for a picnic, a barbecue, or ball game. Or just leave it at home where it will add a touch of casual elegance to your patio or deck.

    • Crafted from renewable hardwood Keruing wood, the wooden folding chair has been dipped in oil for an extra protective finish and covered with an attractive heavy-duty natural colored polyester canvas.

    • Arrives fully assembled so all you need to do is fold it open and start relaxing! This well constructed and sturdy chair opens up easily thanks to the design and materials so you won’t have to worry about this chair breaking down on you.
    • As part of Byer of Maine’s Pangean line, the Joseph Chair will match any of the chairs and tables from the same collection
    • Wood chair dimensions are 36"H x 24"W x 25"D, holds up to 250lbs
